Overview
The AI Supported Assessment Certificate 2026 is designed to strengthen professional capacity in the design, analysis, and management of modern assessment systems in contexts increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. The program directly addresses common challenges in assessment practices, such as over-reliance on rote knowledge testing, unclear scoring mechanisms, limited feedback, and insufficient use of data for decision-making.
Aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Level 7 and the Dublin Descriptors, the program equips participants with both theoretical foundations and applied competencies needed to develop meaningful, ethical, and learner-centered assessments. A strong emphasis is placed on the responsible integration of AI, ensuring transparency, fairness, and trust in assessment systems.
The program is delivered by internationally recognized experts:
- Dr. Arnold J. Brouwer, Director of RCEC, with extensive global experience in assessment auditing and development
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Bernard P. Veldkamp, Vice-Dean of Research at the University of Twente, specializing in psychometrics, data analytics, and computer-based assessment
Through interactive sessions, applied projects, and peer learning, participants gain practical skills that can be immediately applied in schools, universities, training institutions, policy environments, and organizations.
