Overview

The Aspen Young Leaders Program is designed for outstanding young professionals who want to explore what it truly means to lead in today’s complex global environment. Once or twice a year, Aspen Institute Central Europe selects a diverse, interdisciplinary group of participants from Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia.

The program takes place in carefully chosen remote locations, encouraging participants to step away from daily routines and engage in deep reflection. Through lectures, workshops, case studies, and informal discussions, participants explore leadership values, societal responsibility, and cross-sector cooperation.

One of the defining features of the Aspen Young Leaders Program is its intensity. The agenda is dense and immersive, fostering meaningful dialogue and strong connections. Participants are continuously challenged to move beyond their comfort zones, share personal experiences, and engage openly with peers and speakers.

Another key strength lies in its speakers—renowned professionals from business, politics, academia, arts, science, sports, and the nonprofit sector. These cross-sector perspectives ensure rich discussions and lasting inspiration. Graduates become part of the Aspen alumni network, a supportive community that continues collaboration and dialogue long after the program ends.
