Overview
On 1 October, the EU-funded Culture Moves Europe programme launched a new call for applications under its Individual Mobility Scheme. The European Commission has allocated an additional €25 million, enabling support for around 7,000 artists and cultural professionals until 2028. The programme is implemented by the Goethe-Institut.
Who Can Apply
The call is open to artists and cultural professionals from Creative Europe countries who wish to carry out a project abroad.
- Applicants must be aged 18 or older.
- Different levels of experience and backgrounds are welcome.
- Eligible applicants include those from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
- Note: Applicants based in Moldova or with Moldova as a destination may apply from January 2026 onwards.
Eligible Fields
The programme covers seven cultural and creative sectors:
- Architecture
- Cultural Heritage
- Design and Fashion Design
- Literature
- Music
- Performing Arts
- Visual Arts
Project Duration
- Individual projects: 7–60 days
- Group projects (up to 5 participants): 7–21 days
- Projects must take place in one host country different from the applicant’s country of residence.
Grant Support
The funding package includes:
- Daily allowance: €85 per day (project implementation)
- Travel support: Automatically calculated based on travel distance
- Green mobility top-up: €400
- Family support top-up: €200 per child
- Visa top-up: €120
- Accessibility support: Available upon request
Grants will be awarded on a monthly basis until 30 April 2026.
