Overview of Innovation Talks 2026

Innovation Talks 2026 will take place during the prestigious Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Global Conference on 24–25 June 2026 in Manila, Philippines.

Building on the success of previous editions in Dakar and Paris, the third edition of Innovation Talks continues to provide a dynamic platform for sharing cutting-edge approaches to EITI implementation.

The 2026 theme draws inspiration from Bayanihan — a Filipino concept representing unity, shared responsibility and collective action. In the context of Innovation Talks 2026, this spirit highlights collaboration within the EITI community to transform transparency into measurable development impact.

Speakers will deliver concise, high-impact presentations (approximately five minutes), followed by interactive discussions with participants. The format encourages clarity, creativity, and real-world applicability.

Presentations may demonstrate how EITI data has been used to:

  • Identify governance risks
  • Strengthen revenue mobilisation
  • Support community oversight
  • Contribute to sustainable development outcomes
  • Inform meaningful reforms in natural resource governance

Through Innovation Talks 2026, selected speakers will showcase scalable innovations that can inspire replication across countries and regions.
