The Jerzy Giedroyc Fellowship 2026–2027 is named after Jerzy Giedroyc (1906–2000), a prominent Polish intellectual, publisher, and founding editor of Kultura. His work played a crucial role in shaping postwar Polish intellectual life and in promoting the independence and mutual understanding of Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, and Ukraine.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Jerzy Giedroyc Fellowship 2026–2027, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a doctoral program in the humanities or social sciences OR
- Have obtained a PhD not earlier than 10 February 2022
- Conduct research in a relevant humanities or social sciences discipline
- Submit all application materials in English
- Respect IWM rules on repeat applications and waiting periods
Multiple fellowship applications within the same academic year are not permitted.
