Overview
The MGG Academy 2026 is an intensive global training and dialogue programme designed to support professionals who are committed to sustainability transformations and global cooperation. Participants engage in interactive learning, leadership development, peer exchange, and hands-on project work that deepen their understanding of global governance challenges and solutions.
As part of the MGG Network, the Academy also fosters long-term connections and collaborative opportunities among future leaders from key emerging economies and Europe.
Beyond academic learning, the MGG Academy 2026 places strong emphasis on practical policy dialogue and real-world problem solving. Participants collaborate in interdisciplinary teams, engage with senior decision-makers, and work on policy briefs addressing global sustainability challenges. The programme also strengthens strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and cross-cultural leadership capacities, enabling fellows to actively contribute to international cooperation and long-term institutional transformation after completing the Academy.
Eligibility
To apply for the MGG Academy 2026, you should:
- Be a national or permanent resident of one of the participating countries: Brazil, China, EU, India, Indonesia, Mexico, or South Africa
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and between 3 to 15 years of relevant work experience
- Work in areas related to global governance, sustainability or international cooperation
- Have a good command of English for active participation
- Be ready to participate in a full-time, intensive programme (approx. 40 hours/week)
- Have employer support for participation with written endorsement
