Overview

The Model UNCAC Youth COSP 2026 is a Model United Nations (MUN)–style simulation designed to engage young people in the global fight against corruption. It mirrors the real Conference of the States Parties (COSP) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), allowing participants to step into the roles of country delegates and experience authentic UN-style negotiations.

Before the main simulation, selected applicants will attend one of two Capacity-Building Workshops organized by UNODC. These workshops focus on understanding corruption at a global level and exploring how technology and artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical governance.

Participants will strengthen their leadership, advocacy, and diplomatic skills while networking with motivated youth from different regions of the world. The initiative also builds on insights from the 5th Anti-Corruption Academic Symposium (Doha, December 2025), highlighting innovation and AI-driven solutions in anti-corruption efforts. Enhancing global youth leadership, ethical innovation, policy engagement, and cross-cultural cooperation.
